Maison Close Southampton & Vilebrequin Bring French Summer Chic to the Hamptons

This summer, Maison Close Southampton is redefining the art of hospitality through an inspired collaboration with iconic French luxury resortwear house Vilebrequin, transforming the traditional restaurant uniform into a statement of coastal sophistication.

Located within The Capri Southampton, Maison Close has quickly established itself as one of the East End’s most coveted dining destinations, blending refined French cuisine with the vibrant spirit of Hamptons summer. Now, the restaurant is extending that philosophy beyond the table through an exclusive partnership that celebrates fashion, craftsmanship, and the unmistakable joie de vivre of the French Riviera.

Drawing inspiration from Vilebrequin’s Summer 2026 collection and its artistic capsule with celebrated French artist Fabrice Hyber, the custom-designed uniforms seamlessly merge hospitality with high fashion. Hyber’s whimsical “Pescador” motif, an imaginative interpretation of marine life inspired by the intersection of art, science, and nature comes to life across elegant neckerchiefs, tailored accessories, and playful bucket hats worn by Maison Close’s team throughout the season.

The collection captures everything synonymous with an elevated Hamptons summer: crisp white tailoring, vibrant ocean-inspired hues, lightweight fabrics, and thoughtful details that effortlessly balance refinement with relaxed luxury. Every element has been carefully curated to create a cohesive visual experience that feels equally at home along the beaches of Saint-Tropez and the shores of Southampton.

“At Maison Close, we believe every detail contributes to the guest experience, including what our team wears,” shared owners Theliau Probst and Thibaut Castet. “Partnering with Vilebrequin allowed us to bring a sense of summer elegance into our Southampton location in a way that feels authentic to both brands.”

Vilebrequin CEO Roland Herlory echoed the sentiment, describing the collaboration as a natural extension of two iconic French brands united by a shared appreciation for exceptional design, effortless luxury, and the art of entertaining.

More than simply a uniform, the collection serves as an extension of the Maison Close experience itself where exceptional cuisine, thoughtful design, contemporary art, and fashion come together to create something truly immersive. It is a reminder that luxury is often found in the smallest details, elevating every moment from the first greeting to the final toast.

Guests inspired by the collaboration can shop pieces featuring the exclusive Pescador print at Vilebrequin’s East Hampton boutique, bringing a touch of the Maison Close summer aesthetic home with them.

As the Hamptons season unfolds, Maison Close Southampton continues to set a new standard for experiential dining, proving that true hospitality extends far beyond the menu and that impeccable style belongs at every table.
