In May 2025, The Hedges East Hampton will welcome guests once again, under the stewardship of Andrew and Sarah Wetenhall, known for revitalizing The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. Ideally located between Main Street and Main Beach, this 13-room establishment, established in 1873, is entering a thrilling new phase of hospitality. The Wetenhalls are revitalizing this cherished landmark with contemporary, attentive service and a profound sense of community, all while respecting its storied past. For the first time, Swifty's brings its renowned combination of exceptional service, exquisite cuisine, and vibrant atmosphere to East Hampton, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week. Swifty's is all about keeping it local, teaming up with nearby suppliers like Montauk Shellfish, Braun Seafood, Balsam Farms, Catapano Dairy Farm, and a local bakery that whips up fresh breads and sweets every day. Our drink menu also gives a nod to the East End, with wines from Wölffer Estate, picks from Michael Cinque of Amagansett Wine & Spirits, and seasonal cocktails. Plus, we've got some great non-alcoholic options, so there's something for everyone.

With Executive Chef Tom Whitaker at the helm, the menu takes cues from classic American and Continental favorites, while embracing the fresh vibes of the season. The dishes are meant to be stylish yet easygoing—nostalgic at heart, polished in presentation, and consistently top-notch.
